Who is it suitable for?

Professional whitening is suitable for people with healthy teeth who have stains from food, dark-coloured drinks (coffee, tea, red wine), tobacco, or the natural ageing process. Whitening is not recommended for pregnant women, people under 16, those with untreated cavities, active gum disease, or severe tooth sensitivity. It is also important to note that whitening does not work on existing fillings, crowns or dentures - these will not change colour and may need replacing after treatment for a consistent appearance. A consultation with the dentist before treatment is essential to determine your suitability.

Treatment process

What to know before and after treatment

For 48 hours after treatment, your teeth are more susceptible to staining, so we strongly recommend avoiding: coffee, tea, red wine, coloured soft drinks, tomato sauce, beetroot, curry and other strongly pigmented foods. Also refrain from smoking during this period. If you experience mild sensitivity to cold, this is normal and typically subsides within 1-2 days. To maintain your results, schedule regular check-ups and use the maintenance products recommended by your dentist. Results can vary based on your natural tooth shade and lifestyle habits.
